I have just finished adding 113 HD screen captures of Amy Smart from the season finale episode of “Shameless” into the photo gallery!

The first episode of “Shameless” that will feature Amy Smart is going to be airing next week, Sunday March 20th on Showtime! make sure you check your local TV listings for exact air times in your area.

It has been confirmed that Amy Smart will be appearing on the series, “Shameless”, as I reported earlier!

Amy Smart (‘Crank,’ ‘Smith’) will appear in the final two episodes of the show’s first season as Jasmine, a new friend of Fiona Gallagher (Emmy Rossum). Fiona is the oldest sibling in the large Gallagher family, which is headed by the frequently inebriated Frank (William H. Macy). Despite taking on much of the responsibility for caring for her siblings, Fiona also has an active social life and her new friend Jasmine wants to be part of it.

Jasmine, according to Showtime, is someone Fiona knows from the neighborhood, but she’s older than Fiona (in this recent interview, Rossum said Fiona’s around 21). Jasmine has a daughter who is in the same class at school as Fiona’s little sister, Debbie.

Fiona renews her acquaintance with Jasmine when she goes to school to help the mothers decorate for a party. “Jasmine is a little bit pushy and sexy and is a little aggressive about wanting to be friends with Fiona,” according to the network’s character description.

According to the Sun Times, Amy Smart has joined the cast of the Shotime series “Shameless”!

SEEN ON THE SCENE: New “Shameless” cast member Amy Smart was spied joining colleagues Emmy Rossum, Shanola Hampton, Steve Howey and Justin Chatwin to play some pool at Rockit Bar & Grill, where owner Billy Dec will host an anniversary party Thursday for his AChicagoThing.com blog, benefiting the Greater Chicago Food Depository.

I haven’t found any other information about Amy’s role in the series, but I’ll be sure to post about when more news surfaces!

Amy Smart has been tapped to star on an untitled medical drama executive produced by John Wells (“ER,” “The West Wing”) for CBS.

Smart will play a tough nurse on the show, which revolves around a mobile medical team that travels the U.S. helping those in need get through life-and-death medical crises.

ABC has announced their programming for the 2009 – 2010 TV season and although they picked up 10 new series, Amy’s pilot for “See Cate Run” did not make the list!

Amy has been cast in a new television show called “See Cate Run”…

Amy Smart could be the future president of the United States — provided her pilot gets picked up.

Smart (“Smith,” “Just Friends”) has taken the lead role in ABC’s pilot “See Cate Run,” about a woman who may be destined to lead the country. A pair of FOX pilots — the comedy “Two Dollar Beer” and a drama about “past-life investigators” — have also added to their casts, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“See Cate Run,” formerly titled “I, Claudia,” is about a woman (Smart) who will one day be a serious presidential contender. In the present, though, she’s a young prosecutor, and the nation’s highest office is nowhere on her radar.

Smart’s last TV series was CBS’ “Smith,” which lasted only a handful of episodes in fall 2006. She starred in a CBS pilot called “The Meant to Be’s” last year; her recent movie credits include “Mirrors” and “Crank 2: High Voltage,” which will hit theaters in April.
