Today, Amy Smart was on set of the “United We Win” campaign PSA that is being put together by the Voto Latino organization. I have just added 16 pictures from the shoot – you can see all of them by clicking on the previews below.
Earlier this week, Amy Smart was at a grocery store in Los Angeles bagging groceries with Homeboy Industries to promote the use of reusable grocery bags! I have just added 11 photos of Amy and fellow actresses/friends and EMA members Rosario Dawson and Rachelle LeFevre into the gallery.
Some big time celebrities helped promote a new botanical garden at a state of the art high school in Hollywood. Palestra.net’s Deidre Behar and Raj Nair talk about being eco-friendly with Amy Smart and Nicole Richie.
Amy Smart has been tapped to star on an untitled medical drama executive produced by John Wells (“ER,” “The West Wing”) for CBS.
Smart will play a tough nurse on the show, which revolves around a mobile medical team that travels the U.S. helping those in need get through life-and-death medical crises.

With the Copenhagen Climate Conference kicking off next week, celebrities are throwing their support behind states in the US that are acting now to fight back against global warming. The campaign aims to provide support for President Obama, leading into Copenhagen, based on the successes states have had in working to reduce carbon emissions. The short video, shot earlier this fall backstage at the EMA Awards, is sponsored by Environment America in partnership with Tck Tck Tck and the Environmental Media Association.
Artists including Chevy Chase, Jason Mraz, Alanis Morissette, Simon Baker, Amy Smart, Cedric the Entertainer, Olivia Wilde, Dana Delany, and more, make appearances.

Pauley Perrette: Hi, I’m Pauley Perrette, and my green tip of the day is: I love to plant trees. And you don’t have to go with a big thing to do it. Just plant one in your yard. It’s fun. And the other thing is to grow your own vegetables. There’s nothing better than growing your vegetables in your yard, pulling them up and eating them. It’s the best.
Amy Smart: Hi, I’m Amy Smart, and my green tip of the day is using reusable bags.

ABC has announced their programming for the 2009 – 2010 TV season and although they picked up 10 new series, Amy’s pilot for “See Cate Run” did not make the list!
If any more information comes out about the pilot possibly hitting the airwaves, I’ll be sure to post it here!
