Below is a behind-the-scenes clip from the upcoming film, “The House of the Rising Sun,” starring former WWE star Dave “Bautista” Batista. The clip will be a bonus feature on the DVD when it’s released.A description of the film is as follows:
“An ex-cop gets more than he bargained for when transitioning to a quieter life in the Lionsgate DVD, Blu-ray Disc, Digital Download and On Demand debut of House of the Rising Sun. The action thriller features an all-star action cast including Dave Bautista (Wrong Side of Town), Amy Smart (Crank High Voltage), Danny Trejo (Machete), and Dominic Purcell (TV’s “Prison Break”). The film based on the novel of the same name, is written by best selling author and retired federal agent Chuck Hustmyre. The House of the Rising Sun DVD and Blu-ray Disc, featuring director commentary, cast interviews and a behind the scenes featurette, is available for the suggested retail price of $26.98 and $29.99, respectively.
A former crooked cop, Ray (Bautista) sets out to reform his ways and takes on a low-key job at a New Orleans strip club called House of the Rising Sun. Unfortunately, trouble quickly finds Ray, when the club is robbed and the owner’s son is shot to death on Halloween night. When his past is exposed, Ray looks to clear his own name and assumes his own criminal search before both the police and the mob close in on him.” The film will be available for purchase on July 19th, 2011.
